ZEP appreciates the support of the media to help raise awareness about the dangers of substance use during pregnancy. 

Legal substances such as alcohol and tobacco can be just as harmful to an unborn baby as many illegal substances.  Education is needed to encourage all women stay healthy and substance free prior to and during pregnancy.
